Shortcut menus can be displayed by right-clicking your pointing device.  Some keyboards have a Shortcut Menu key.

Shortcut menus are context-sensitive, which means that the menu displayed is dependent on certain conditions.  You can display menus from the following window areas:

  • Drawing Area
  • Command Line
  • Status Bar
  • Dialog Boxes
  • Toolbars
  • Tabs

Drawing Area
Right-clicking in the Drawing Area can produce several shortcut menus.  The shortcut menu displayed depends on the location of your pointer and whether or not any objects are selected.

Default
Right-click in the drawing while no objects are selected to display the Default shortcut menu.
Edit
Right-click while one or more objects are selected.
Command
Right-click while a command is active to obtain a list of available command options.
Hot Grips
Right-click while a hot grip is selected to display a list of grip related functions.
OLE
Right-click while an OLE object is selected to display a list of related functions.
