Mtext - At Long Last, Indents and Tabs!
Support for tabs and indents is one of the features most AutoCAD users have been dreaming of for years. Well, it is finally here in AutoCAD 2004! In fact, the Multiline Text Editor has undergone a complete overhaul in the latest AutoCAD release.
Now when you edit an Mtext object, the Text Formatting toolbar is displayed and it appears as though you are editing the text right in place.
Indents, Tabs, Justification, symbols, AutoCAPS, Change Case and other tools are available through the right-click menu.
The Indents and Tabs window allows you to set the Tab stop position and control the indentation of the first line in a paragraph or the entire paragraph.
To align the notes in the text above a Tab stop and Paragraph Indent of 1/4" is used. Tabs were added after each period.
