Creating a Custom Toolbar In this Tip Sheet we will explore creating a custom toolbar using existing AutoCAD commands.
First, right-click on any toolbar button and select Customize… from the menu.

Make sure the Toolbars tab is in front and left-click on the New… button.
|
|
|
|
|
|

Type in the name of your new toolbar and left-click on the OK button.

|
A blank toolbar will be created and placed on the screen.

Next, left-click on the Commands tab to add buttons from the command button library.

To add commands, just left-click on the command group and drag the button to the new toolbar. For instance, to add Circle Center Diameter, left-click on the Draw category, scroll to the Circle Center Diameter command and drag it to your new toolbar.

Go ahead and drag a few more commands to your toolbar.
Placing a Divider If you have a number of buttons in a toolbar, you may want to place divider between different groups of commands. To add a divider, just left-click, hold and drag a button to the side.
When you're finished customizing your toolbar, left-click on the Close button.
