Selecting Multiple Objects

AutoCAD selection modesHaving trouble selecting objects? When you select additional objects are the previously chosen objects unselected?

Objects are automatically added to the current selection set each time you click an object or choose a group of objects with a window or crossing. If when you select a new object or group of objects the previous objects are unselected a setting called PICKADD has been changed to 0. To restore the default function, type PICKADD, press ENTER, type 2 and press ENTER. You can also access the PICKADD setting in the OPTIONS command, SELECTION tab and remove the check next to Use Shift to Add.
