Exploring Associative Arrays
AutoCAD 2012 introduced several new wrinkles to creating patterns of objects, the associative array. One of the many features of an associative array is the ability to modify the pattern long after the command is finished.
The ARRAYRECT command creates an associative 2D or 3D rectangular array. The number of rows, columns and levels, as well as the spacing may be updated. One or more objects in the pattern may modified while retaining the option to change the pattern parameters. Watch the video below!
