Where is CCAD's training facility?

CCAD leases conference rooms in Lake County, Ohio as needed to accommodate the size of the class.

What are the meeting times for CCAD's training courses?

Unless otherwise specified, AutoCAD training courses conducted at CCAD's facility begin at 8:30AM and end at approximately 4:00PM. Lunch (not provided) is from 11:30AM‑12:30PM.

What is the typical class size for a CCAD AutoCAD training course?

AutoCAD training courses conducted at CCAD's location typically have 2‑5 participants. For the best learning environment, we recommend a maximum of 12 students for on‑site courses.

How long does it take to master AutoCAD?

It is very difficult to predict the amount of time that it will take for a person to become proficient using AutoCAD. Important factors are the individual's level of computer knowledge, the amount of time using AutoCAD and the frequency that AutoCAD is used. A computer savvy individual, using AutoCAD 15‑25 hours per week, every week, should become proficient in 6‑12 weeks.

Can I get AutoCAD support after I complete a CCAD training course?

All participants enjoy six months of free email support. Don't forget to check our AutoCAD CAD Bytes Webinars and AutoCAD Tutorials. Our fee based remote support is also available.

How experienced is the instructor?

When you choose CCAD inc. as your AutoCAD Training Provider, you are assured that your trainer will be Cindy Dunn, President and founder of CCAD inc. Cindy has been teaching AutoCAD to engineering and technical professionals since 1986. She has conducted classes throughout the US and in France, Germany, Switzerland and Singapore.

Can CCAD conduct AutoCAD training at my facility?

Absolutely! CCAD can conduct one of its standard AutoCAD training courses or a customized course at your location.

On‑Site Training requirements:
  • a quiet, segregated conference room
  • an AutoCAD workstation for each participant
  • a table for the instructor with two electrical outlets
  • a white wall or screen for projecting demonstrations

Can CCAD conduct a customized AutoCAD training course?

Absolutely! We can design a course for as few as two participtants. Just complete the form and send it to us.

Does CCAD conduct online AutoCAD training courses?

At present, CCAD is able to conduct short, customized training sessions for up to five students. Generally, companies request training sessions to further educate their users on a particular topic, such as Plotting or Blocks. Don't forget to check out our CAD Bytes Webinars.

Can I purchase just the training materials?

Not at this time, but we are hoping to make this option available in the future.
